www.jobsite.co.uk worked for me. Different sites suit different careers. What do you do?

eccsmk - 5/1/08 at 12:07 PM

graememk - 5/1/08 at 12:21 PM

eccsmk - 5/1/08 at 12:27 PM

that would mean going to the same place day in day out couldn't do that it would drive me insane
or just make my insanity worse

A poor plumber?

You must be going about it the wrong way!!!

I'm kind of going down that route at the moment (largely by accident) and I've already got plumbing and other property maintenance work coming out of my ears. I'm earning double what I was in IT!!!

Cheers,
James

i've been down south and chatted to a few plumbers and they are on triple what i am maybe lincolnshire folk are getting meaner

James - 5/1/08 at 03:22 PM

Maybe it's just IT companies in the South are getting meaner!

Good luck with the job hunting.

Cheers,
James

You have choices:

1. The global economy nowadays allows you to do what you want to. This did not used to be the case.

2. Putting your head down and making money is inherently boring after a while. Get used to it, or make less money. We can't all be Paul McCartney - and even he had to work with Michael Jackson for a time.

i dont mind working i just fancy a regular income rather than bits here and there.
