I am removing some border/frieze thats been on the wall for several years. The patterned surface came off easily leaving a base paper stuck to the wall. Warm water and a scrapper removes the paper but leaves a nasty sticky surface that will not wash off. Tried removing with surgical spirit, white spirit and meths but it still remains sticky any idea what might remove the adhesive residue?
Brake Cleaner?
Sugar soap?
Mike
