Autosport show "Trade Days"
Chris_G - 10/1/08 at 12:54 PM

On behalf of someone else, does anyone here know how easy/difficult it is to get registered and allowed to go in for a non-trader, non-comp licence holder on a trade only day (i.e. tomorrow). Can you 'construct' a letter headed note paper as proof of trade status and do they do any checks?

Cheers
Chris

I went a few years ago, b4 I had Furore Cars, with a made up name, you don't have to have a Vat no. & they do no checks to the best of my knowledge. HTH

No checks made as far as i know.

But the only problem I had when i used to go on trade days was.............

It was too bloody busy because too many people were there that shouldn't have been

They ask "who are your motorsport customers ?"

I put in a list from Ginetta to Palmersport

my mate put in a Caravan firm !

he still got a ticket.

They don't care.

No checks, I went last year with the msa licence and my mates reg themselves as a company and got passes no problems. See you all there tomorrow, flying over in the morning, always a great show

The pistonheads show starts tomorrow (Friday) at the NEC and (occuring to the ticketing website) if you have tickets for either show you can get into the other for free. I wonder how that works with the Autosport being "trade only" on Friday?
