Karting in Yorkshire
tul214 - 10/1/08 at 03:59 PM

Hi,

I am trying to sort an awayday for a group of guys at work who want to go Karting. We are based in Leeds but live across the M62.

Could anyone recommend a kart track near to Leeds that would let us play for the afternoon??

Cheers.....Mark.

very very good! it has a bridge a tunnel and everything.

we've been in the first term with uni for the last 2 years. it's £50 per team for an hour and a half, but i'm not sure if that's any uni discount.

we were going to go to pole position today after i weighed in a load of scrap! Didnt bother in the end though. Its the best small venue ive been to, though the outdoor one in bradford is quite fun, more rally in places!

i've heard the one in wakefield was pretty poor so i've never been. the one in batley used to be brilliant in my opinion because they had some interesting track layouts, but now.............it plays second fiddle to pole position in a big way.

i've heard of a kart track in meltham too, but never been.

The one in Warrington is AWESOME - very likely to be the best in the UK.... a bit pricey but OMG what a track... 2-3 levels IIRC....
