Morgan replica for sale on ebay (NTDWM) - says it's Beetle based, but it doesn't look like it uses a Beetle chassis beach-buggy style, as
there's not enough room under the back for the Beetle engine (though 1192 is the size of a Beetle 1200 engine)
Bet it goes about as fast as a beetle

Didn't they destroy the earth in hitchhikers guide to the galaxy?
I notice that there is cunningly no photos from the rear
IN reply to my question, this was the answer "HI,IT IS BEETLE CHASSIS,THE ENGINE IS IT THE BACK,THANKS."
hmmm, don't think I'll be bidding somehow (though the bodywork looks pretty accurate)
If it uses the Beetle chassis, I am sure it will have the same flexible chassis feel as the original

Though I'm well into bugs and beach buggy’s I'd have some issues with that car. Firstly without the convertibles sill strengtheners the
floor pan is not strong enough for opening doors so I'd check their fitted. Looking at the upper seatbelt mountings I'd guess that's
just bolted through the glass fiber so is there any metal support?
It'll also handle like a pig as all the weights at the back including the driver, it might even start to lift at the front due to the front wings
catching the wind.
Lastly the 1200 is the worst engine ever to be lumbered with as it cannot be tuned like the 1300, produces about 25 bhp at the engine...and can't
even be increased in capacity i.e. 1300 can be made into a 1600 easily
I’d give it a miss.
