Stop being a nancy boy.

Pick it up, with a shovel if you must, and put it in a black bag. Into the bin with it.

It's dead - it won't bite you.

oadamo - 13/1/08 at 04:21 PM

the eyes are hanging out .

fished a dead cat out of my mums pond once, we laughed so much as it was that stiff, i stood it up.
Then i obviously put it in a bag and then in the bin.

They'll just tell you to get lost, although they may be more polite... or not!

They're only interested in animals that they can save. Bit late in your case.

Hate to say this but if you don't move it then the local takeaway might!

mistergrumpy - 13/1/08 at 04:58 PM

Contact the environmental at your council and they'll shift it. Tell them it's in a bad way and they'll most likely come out a bit quicker.

- Why don't leave it?
- Or drive it into the street (100x)
- Or shovel it in the ditch
- Or dig a hole and put some sand onto?

Last one is IMO the best.

martyn_16v - 13/1/08 at 05:25 PM

Put it on a burning raft and push it out to sea. It'll never get to Valhalla if you don't, and then how bad would you feel?

Keep them to see you through the week.

timnuttuk - 13/1/08 at 05:33 PM

Leave it where it is - it'll be gone in the morning as some local fox will have had it for its tea

if its dead it should dead easy to cope with it...

the eyes will only be there for less then a day. its the first thing (because its water) that will go back into the nature...

James - 13/1/08 at 07:01 PM

1 of my girlfriend's elderly adopted stray cats disappeared once.

Whenever I visited I kept saying there was this bad smell near their front door... was it the drains?

Her Mum call's a drain guy to sort the problem and to get to the manhole he had to move an old tarp' covered Beetle on their drive.
Inside the car was what turned out to be the source of the smell problem!

Poor old Ginger!

Cheers,
James

Either put it on the for sale section or on ebay!
