"Soccer Circus" seems about right

Well he did so well at Manchester City.

My money was on Shearer, but he must be smart enough to realise it's a hiding to nothing.

Oh dear, just how deluded can some one get....

It's already time to start looking for his replacement.

Would Shearer be a good manager??

Keegan gets my vote even if for the fan support he will get.

What was final score tonight?

Don't know if Shearer would be a good manager, don't think anyone does. The fact he's happy being a pundit despite the pay being an order of magnitude less speaks volumes about his personal opinion of the job/his abilities. He would be the fans choice at least at the start - more so than Keegan IMO.

He did get a lot of support. The shirt manufacturers were ecstatic I'm sure. Whether he keeps that support remains to be seen - I can't see him turning the team around before the end of the season.

4:1 against Stoke
