Just read this on the news...

'Day 38:
As predicted in the press, Blaine's box was the latest target of the so-called "flash mobbers". A group of around 60 people had arranged to meet at the box via the Internet. At exactly 7:44pm they set off their mobile phone ringtones for one minute. They then pointed at the box, chanted "What goes up must come down" and bowed at Blaine before each waving an item of food, mainly chocolate and burgers. After that, the group disappeared as quickly as they had arrived.'

bloody loonies...

I like the idea of coordinating something like this and organising a harmless, if somewhat pointless, activity and actually seeing it through. It's no different to arranging to meet somewhere to talk about something with people of a similar disposition, say building cars or something. If 60 people round here affanged to meet it would probably be to wreck something or burn it down. Fair play to them, beats watching football or cricket I reckon.

yours, Pete.
