Mould ?

A guy was asking at work about mould in the headline of a car he as bought.

Its been stood over a year, he's bought it but the headline as gone mouldy, any tips on removing the stains its left ?

Fit a new headlining, or a good one from another car. The mould will just come back in time.

Neat Bleach will get rid, but as per above, it will probably come back, worth a try though.

This is gonna sound funny but I've used kleeneze anti mould spray before after cleaning away the visible mould with a good interior shampoo... Worked for a couple of years while a mate had the car.

Torch the car for the insurance, buy a better one.

We had a cavalier go mouldy over one winter when it was not used for about 7 months. Oh god it was horrific, everywhere, green steering wheel, green carpets, thick furry stuff............barf

Even after extensive cleaning the car reeked and ended up being dumped

You could try Milton fluid - that kills mildew.
