It seems to me that there's a few people on here during the day when they are probably at their place of work, some people only appear on here when they are at work (NED).

So I propose that we have term for someone accessing this forum from work.

You would be said to be 'Doing A Ned'................

Us office wallahs do little else than play on the internet, buying poo you don't need on Ebay, and getting paid for the pleasure. Nice system!

So in fact I am "nedding and gusting" in one post..

my objection to going online from home is the pathetic pace of a 56k modem, my office connection is 100mb to my pc and 1gigabit out from the basement of the building. I also like to have a break from the pc when i get home and have other things to be gettting on with.

i know i'm not the only one 'nedding' as surrey dave says, though i'm used to the ribbing i often get by now.

At least I'm no longer the quickest posting ex-newbie, and am building a car.

I had a great night out on Division St which just north of downtown....a bar every 20 yards and crumpet everywhere..

Also, "Dicks last restort" is a great eating place...they have deliberately rude staff and allow tables to have rolled up paper towel battles......

It certainly seemed fun after a few beers anyway.....

Most of the time im gonna be in a backwater called kenosha, over the border in wosconsin.


a couple days im gonna be in mccormic (?) exhibition centre. No doubt will go to a restaurant someplace - as I did on the same trip 2 years back. Its all a blur when on abusiness trip like this tho.

I have been to chicago / kenosha area about 7 times - never really seen chicago cos of work and dark winter nights - just about the only season I get to go.

Went to venice beach area in california mid 90's in nice weather. It really IS like baywatch. girls on blades. scanty clad. thought id died and gonto tv heaven
