How much do they earn? Hourly rate I presume but is it minimum wage? Just thinking .....

I have often wondered...
Those on the graveyard shift must get paid a fair bit...
I somehow doubt that there would be any difference as they usually follow a shift pattern and take the rough with the smooth.
2 x 6am-2pm, 2 x 2pm-10pm, 2 x Day off etc

I've always found it a bit odd that the ones round here don't seem to speak a word of English!
Cheers,

Mmmm you make it sound soooooo good mr W
Seriously, I am just thinking about changing my present security shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) to something a little less taxing. My body
clock doesn't know which way is up at the moment and the old ticker isn't having a good time either
I applied to do a part time night shift at the local BP. £6.20 or something daft for night work
Don’t think I fancy it but does sound better than late night security, I wonder what the suicide rate is for that job? i use to watch nighting gales
There's nobody here but us chickens!
oh here's a link for all you young ones -

i worked for Texeco once, horrible job.
by day its ok, but by night if your in a rough area, bricks at the windows from local yobs etc....
plus, you dont get staff discount on petrol!!!!
Strangely, they are reported to have one of the best job satisfaction ratings of any profession(!!) but equally one of the highest suicide rates.
Strange but true (and admittedly useless) information.....

I liked the one where they set the gorilla on, they were all classics though and I didn't know they had been released on DVD.

Our local Aldi pay well and they don't use barcode readers.
