german car manufacturers

Hi all,
I need a bit of help and was wondering if anyone here could shine some light on my situation.
Basically for my AS german speaking exam, we had to do something relating to a german speaking country, so i decided to do it on a german car manufacturer.
But nthe problem is i need loads of stats which i can blab on about for several minutes.
So before i spends ages searching the web for info and pulling up dead ends i was wondering if anyone on here knew any links to sites with statistics and history about a car manufacturer.'=
Im looking to do either BMW or Audi but anyothers are possible.
I will do the one i can get most information on.
So links to websites with info on would be much appreciated
thanks all

wikipedia and google are your friends.

BWM, Audi, Volkswagen, Kateringvanstein, Porsche, Trabant, Daimler, Benz, AutoUnion, Opel, NSU, Mercedes, Messerschmidt, Heinkel

and there is probably more than that.

Shame its not a dutch AS. You could have talked about the carver. all you would have to do is explain the tilting mechanism and the exam would be over
