I watched the 'best cheap car' selection on 5th Gear last night, with the presenters throwing magnetic stars on the bonnets according to their features & selling points. Ended up with 4 cars that were clearly a few stars ahead of the rest.

Then one of them took two more stars and threw them onto the Ford Ka bonnet "because it's got a better badge", which then moved it into the top 4 to go onto the next round.

I then gave up and watched something else...

what really annoys me on articles like that last night, is that for the £6k you spend on a korean box (that will depreciate to about £2k in one year) get yourself a decent one year old car (eg Focus).

If you had 2 Peroduas with sunroofs you could use them as roller boots.. I wouldn't buy a new car just to say I'm the only person to fart in the drivers seat, it would have to have some other redeeming feature like being fun to drive or practical.
