22 days till my 17th, already got 12 hours of lessons booked for the first week

anyone would have thought i was impatient

arnt friday afternoons the best?

That is a distant hazy memory for me though I'm sure my instructor still gets flash backs.

I do remember deciding to drive in the oncoming lane to avoid some traffic it seemed to bother him a bit (ok so oncomings car had to move out the way but what a moan), as did not stopping at the stop signs...

Ahhh that brings back happy memories - my first lesson was on my 17th birthday and I passed my test a month later

Brings back strange memories for me.

I never liked my instructor, although I did pass first time. He used to hit my hand with a hairbrush if I did something stupid, he also drooled and had constantly flaking skin.

A few years later I read he got done for sex with a minor, one of his pupils, 17 and still a minor - you guess the sex of his pupil.

I also met a girl pupil he slept with until she passed her test, dirty bstard, although to be fair she did not have the strictest moral standards.

On the plus side, he did give me a pack of three for use with my then girlfriend when I told him I had run out, and I did pass first time.

Watch yourself mate, best of luck.
