typical rip off, I called a coatings place in Aberdeen about getting some parts blasted and then coated in that Zinga zinc paint as the parts weren't sutable for hot dip, I was quoted 65 quid a sqare meter yet it's only about 23 quid for 500ml in a spray can. I think I'll do it myself, useless bunch.

You could consider hot zinc spray (yep melt it then spray it at the parts..), basically as good as hot dip, but without the distortion problems..

I'd bet that a fair chunk of that quote was for the manpower needed for preparation.
