Not content with just generating money by hitting the motorist the government are also trying stop law abideding, tax paying citizens even having fun! A speed limit is being imposed on lake windermere in 2005 to stop water skiing and people generally enjoying themselves . We were up there last year and the locals have got big concerns for not only will it stop people enjoying themselves, its going to put alot of peolpe out of work, and they are very concerned about the local economy. Get voting

It killed alot of places 20 years ago when they put a speed limit on 11 other lakes and said they would leave us alone on windermere!!

Its part of windermere history!! Whats the matter with people!

I got a speeding ticket a few yrs back,well it was more than a few 12yrs i think.

It was on the river arun just before arundel castle,got £150 fine and was only doing 16MPH

Apparently she can tell whether they are lying by their obvious attempt to cover something up....
