garage break in
indykid - 5/3/08 at 09:20 PM

i've just been informed by my brother today that the garage got broken into on saturday night.

cut the padlock off the bar across the door and jemmied the lock.

so far, i'm told we're missing a clarke 150te mig welder, with roughly welded on big black plastic wheels with yellow centres off an old toy car. also a clarke 1/2" air impact wrench and a sealey gravity feed spray gun.

not much else seems to have gone walk about by the sounds of it because the garage was so full hindering their access, but i'll be going to check my roll cab tomorrow night.

so ermmm......if you see any of it for sale on a market around dewsbury or west yorkshire, let us know, and feel free to knee cap the c*nts!

i've just finished putting a new door glass in our focus after it was thieved of its radio (standard worthless ford unit!!!!!)last night at around 9pm!!!.

the feeling when you are told of this type of thing as many of us are aware- i am sure,is bloody awfull.

went to bed last night steaming mad, barely slept and now £65 lighter the car is secure again but think i will do without a radio in it.

luckily, my car's in a different garage nearer home, and they couldn't move about much inside the garage because my brother's punto was in there.

the gates to the drive were locked. god knows what would've disappeared had they not been! i'm just amazed they managed to lug the welder round the punto and do no damage or disturb anything!

cheers chaps

I know you probably don't want to hear it but if you're fully comp you can *usually* get a new door glass on the same terms as your windscreen i.e. £50 or £60 excess. Might not save you much money over the price of the glass but at least you don't have to fit it and they'll usually vacuum the mess up too...

thanks ,but me personally,i prefer just to sort it myself- often quicker probably a more 'caring' installation and no bs insurance companies to deal with(plus i vacked EVERY piece of glass(that i could cos i know i will find pieces of it constantly from now on)).

hope the punto truly has no damage on it btw.
cheers rioch

And I'll keep an eye for folk coming through the system in the mornings and have a word with G4S to shove them down the stairs

There was a rumor going around a little while back that there was a part in ford radios that could be used for getting free sky tv. Of course its not true but the chavs that do this sort of thing obviously are too dumb to realise that
