I have just got myself a lovely new camcorder and would like to do some filming of me driving. Does anybody know where i can finder a good rollbar
mount/bracket for my camcorder? has anybody had any experience using them?
Also does anyone know if there are any restrictions on using them at track days? I know some don't allow your passenger to hold a camera but
thats all.
As usual all info is appreciated, Thanks Matt

Certain places want you to sign an indemnity (right word?) saying that you won't use the footage for financial gain (or something like that) I
think, but that's the only restriction I know of.
Well apart from the one you stated and it being mounted securely!

Thanks for the quick replies.
Hellfire, how do you rate the equipment? have you had any problems at all like it slipping etc? would you recommend them?
Thanks

As above Hague or fastfilms.co.uk for all my kit I've bought to use on track.
Thirded, I have near enough the same clamps. Superclamp and a tilt/swivel clamp that bolts onto it:
Just checked on the fastfilms website and they call it superclamp, stud and socket head. Allows some good range of angles. You'll have no bother
with these on a track day.
When we mount cameras on truss at the union we use a doughty clamp with the relvent thread on it.
- We've got about a half a dosen but i dont know who makes them, or if they have been custom made by someone a few years ago.
