So the witch hunt against McLaren is not finished then.

hmmm - seems a case of "ferrari started at the back for the last race so you can for this to 'even' things up"

Sure its not the case and just us having sour grapes! oh well.... good luck guys.

extra incentive to watch the qualifying on ITV at 1:40pm then hey!!

well i'm sure kimi will drive straight off the track all by himself. He seems to be struggling to drive the cars without electronic nannies holding his hand.

Hope it rains!

The main reason im not interested in F1 is all this bitching between the teams, and inconsistant punishment depending on which way the wind blows Why cant they all just get on with it and stop crying like big babies

When they interviewed Lewis, he told them this was were he started last year and was in first position after the first bend. All depends on who can manage 750 ponies from a start. Last week showed that without traction control it ain't so easy.

And yes I'm hoping it will rain. 750 ponies in the wet should be fun.

I've got 140 and thats exciting enough on wet roads

im loving the iron maiden that they've thrown in

I watched the live broadcast off sky+ this morning and it wasn't just mclaren driving around slowly trying to conserve fuel after their hot laps and I'm sure they were not the only ones to be in the way (if infact they were). Does seem odd how only mclaren have been punished..

Ned.

Guys, these sorts of punishments are doled out when a potential problem with the rules occurs.
No doubt there will be a rule change.
From my own racing experience, these are "example" punishments, a message to all drivers about going slowly even though other drivers are still qualifying.
All teams will try to conserve fuel, but after this you may find that they all drive a little faster or drive off the racing line (unlikely as it messes up the tyres).
Both Maclaren cars were on the racing line and so impeded the qualifying drivers.
I am a Maclaren fan, so I am not being biased here!
