interesting because i didn't think the eagle ray was a stinging one, i have been in the water with these on many occasions and can't recall ever seeing a barb on their tails?
They are bally big buggers though so if one jumped out the water in front of you as you were hooning along in a speedboat then i can see how it would kill you!
