Just wondering if there are any sound engineers/inspectors specifically working within the construction industry who do test to the criteria of the building regulation approved document E?

Finished uni and would like to apply my audio engineering degree into this field and was just wondering if there were any inspectors who could give me some info on test procedure, regs, etc...
