what side???

If I was watching the TV I would do.

I can understand watching F1 as a sport because we (as a car building community) would love to be in it, and also for seeing the technological advances of Cars (ie motor racing's pinnacle sport).

But I really can't stomach watching a few cars (don't even know how many! - Is it 20 or so?) go round a track in relative order.
How many overtaking maneouvres are done in an F1 Race?
I watched most of last weeks because I was up and neither the missus nor dog were, so just stuck it on. I would much rather watch a MotoGP race than F1 as the same technological advances are there (last years development of the Ducati engine was astounding!) but the racing is so much closer and much less of a foregone conclusion.

Rant over, but I'd love someone who's truly passionate about the sport to give me their own view - and preferably someone who doesn't have anything to do with the sport now or in the past (I think a couple of people on here, but I would also love to hear their views too!)...

Cheers,
Steve

ps. I have to say that I also don't bither watching football as it's full of premadonna's and seems a waste of a couple of hours...

Someone pointed out a week or so back that there is more overtaking in one lap of NASCAR than there is in a whole race of F1!

Rugby??

If they're going to fight over it, why don't they just give them a ball each?

It's a bit homoerotic for me

cheers

Chris
