It's a bit hard to find out what he's doing - he might be a good mechanic but he's no web writer! - but you have to admire his efforts.

hmm very impressive, look at how he's mounted the motor onto a transverse gearbox, I really like that a lot, could get away with quite a low power motor that way and just a simple switch to cut the power to the motor when the clutch pedal is pressed. Even easier if an auto box was used. Nothing particularly high tec, no expensive Lithium batteries etc... My Bluey would be a good candidate for that
