No pics, sorry, but got a bit distracted the other day and bought a new toy, and RC car of all things!!
I was about 15 when I last used one, and I couldn't drive the damn things then, but now it seems things have moved on a LOT and I can crash much
faster and better than before.
I am now the proud? owner of a hobao "Hyper 7 PBS" 1/8 scale rc car with all manner of trick bits including a full race engine which is
supposed to produce 3hp........from 3.5cc....

It was cheap enough secondhand for me to be able to crash without too much panic, and my first run did involve quite a bit of that, btu they do seem
to be tough!!!!
this vid on youtube demonstrates:

All new stuff to me and no doubt old hat to many on here, but bloody hell, the rc car is not far off my locost 0-60 (and that is well under 4 secs)
and tops out around 70mph
looks great! Last time I had a RC car I got it home and slammed the arial in the door, ripping it out before I;d even turned it on
Thats a proper bit of kit, if I had time for MORE hobbies I'd get one - and a plane!
Where will you drive it?
thats looks great fun

i do miss my ic rc helicopter now that was a real money soaker, especially when i crashed!
am tempted with an electric one, battery power has come alone way from when i used to fly
so how could you link up 100 of those engines to a gearbox?

they look good cars
I love my r/c stuff
just finishing off a crazy big petrol stunt plane, bit worried about the engine, think it's OTT
power wise, we'll see...
bloody hell!!!
watch out, might contribute to global warming a bit there
