One outlet in Kirkcaldy, Fife, was charging £1.30 for a litre of diesel.
Why people are still using this robber makes us wonder. The other garage is five minutes along the road.......
One of our drivers came back today and said there was a station near us charging 130 for unleaded!!!
Im thinking the strike in scotland may have something to do with it
The papers said that they were charging £1.45 a litre for diesel for a while

RIX
Don't see them much now, along with a lot of the other "older" names...
National
Flare
Amoco
Gulf
Prince
and I'm sure there's many more
The local village garage where I take my cars for MoTs is a RIX fuelled garage. RIX is one of a few companies that will deal with the small quantities
that small garages require. Several of the smaller outlets have stopped selling fuel altogether as it's not worth the hassle and the cost of the
insurance for stocking and selling fuel. The aforementioned garage actually has written "X2" after the poundage figures as his pumps only
went up to 99p/ltr. He was told he would need new pumps but at £8k each, he's decided to wait until he gets the final warning and then stop
selling fuel altogether which will leave the next closest fuel station 15miles away.
My Mam isn't bothered and she says the rise in fuel prices hasn't effected her as she always buys a tenners worth at a time and it
hasn't gone up..........
