That's a new benchmark for "very ugly indeed"

This isn't a BEC hijack but... the only way to make that look good is a smaller engine that's going to let you redesign that god-awful nose! Hayabusa?

The rest of it looks nice mind.

i like it! i think it looks really good! well apart from the engine sticking out the bonnet...

Classic case of packaging gone wrong.

If only the wheelbase had been a tad longer and the track a tad wider, the engine could have been over to the left and behind the front axle.
It also needs a dry sump like all proper sports racing cars do to get the engine low in the chassis like it should be.

It gets worse. It sold for £11,500. Just look at this pic, so many missed design opportunities all in the one place at the one time.

I have to love it cos it's 4 wheel drive

What he's done is retained the cossie 4x4 front diff location (bolted to the engine sump) and standard front prop. This forces him to locate the engine horribly far forwards and high for the shape of car it's packaged in.

He could have done what I've done and made the front diff independant giving him the freedom to put the engine a couple of feet further back. But ah well i still think it's cool.

For a track/racecar the balance must be waaaaaay out
