I have a floor mounted peddlebox in my car with a hydraulic clutch MC....
I need to convert it to cable but cant think of a suitable method of levering the cable......The lever arm would effectivley be in the road
somewhere....
So how have others managed floor mounted cable clutches?
Pics appreciated
cant you just move the pivot point up slightly? then ur cable lever will still be within the pedal box
Have you measured the required throw at the clutch actuation arm, (the one at the bell housing)?
Just a thought
Mick
I just went the other way - cable to hydraulic
I just re-drilled the pivot at the bottom and cut off the unwanted bit - sounds like you would have
to do the reverse .

Probably not the answer you want, but if you do a google you will find floor mounted pedal units specifically designed for cable clutches.
Forgot to add - and then make a new clutch pedal !
Hmm...this is an interesting idea
Im not sure if all bike engines are similar, but roughly how much cable movement am I going to need for a BEC clutch? (ZX9R to be precise)
Now that is nice !
