Why only 15, i do a round trip every day of 14miles to work and back and i average 21mph on a good day, reaching speeds of nearly 46mph, but i must admit of thinking of an electric assisted bike to ease the preasure on my legs.

Does anyone remember the bikes with an engine hanging from the handlebars and driving the front wheel via the tyre? Also rear mounted engine on bikes?

Sure Rusty, first transport I had was a "Power Pack", 49cc two stroke that was fitted like a rear luggage rack, and drove on the rear tyre. Many others around at that time "Cyclemaster", mounted in the rear wheel, (not as quick as the "Power Pack" ) plus a few others but I forget the names. Great times, petrol was 2 bob, (ten pence), a gallon . Cheers Ray.
