Guy at work was sent a £1 refund, he assumed wrongly he had maybe paid to much postage or something, i know you shouldn't assume anything.
Anyhow, next thing he is cleared of £500, he now as the money back via Halifax fraud dept or whatever......
But, be careful out there. paypal offered him no help whatsoever even though the refund came via them, apparently this was a way into his account, he
accepts refund they know its a live account and have details.
Blimey!!!!
I had a buyer ask for my bank details so he could pay straight into my bank account last week...............
Guess what I told him to do
i have a nationwide account with no credit on it at all that i use for ebay and also a credit card with a £1000 limit thast i used to internet shopping, i've been caught before

i got ripped about 18mth back, firstly 150 squid to betfair (im not a gambler) then i bought some E-Gold (whatever that is) and various other payments
all from paypal account totalling over £600 in about 7 transactions, the wifey went mad thinking id been spending stupid, anyways cut the story short
and the point of my post, Paypal were very helpful and understanding and got all the money back with in 3 weeks, ok could have been quicker but i
think they did a reasonable job
just my experience
