I have a cracking pic of an A1 GP car taken from a newspaper that is just smaller than A2 (it's about 330m x 570mm).
Has anyone got a big scanner, or some way of re-producing it on "real" paper or canvas or digitally?
Cheers,
Pat...
You could scan it in sections and paste the images together by making the canvas of one image large enough to hold the rest but newspaper images don't scan well due to them being made of little dots. If you can descreen the images with the scanning software it may work.
Back at home I have an A0+, B+W scanner and would be happy to help but Im in the states at the moment
You can 'stitch' smaller scans together with some of the graphics packages like Corel, Paintshop etc. As already mentioned, watch out for the screen effect when scanning from litho posters.
Next (high street store) will do pictures onto canvas for you.
For a more professional approach try your local Prontaprint or Hobs Reprographics.
take a photo of it with your digi camera.....
Hi,
We produce canvases at work. Send me an email to tedwardo1@hotmail.com if you are interested. Search kickasscanvas1 in the ebay shop search for
