Anyone with an olde worlde Glass Guide?
RazMan - 20/5/08 at 12:14 PM

Just a quickie - I'm considering selling my 1995 Escort Estate 1.4 but I haven't a clue what it is worth.
It is in very good condition apart from a worn driver's seat (they all do that sir ) and a few minor marks inside and out, but generally a good driver with about 95K on the clock.

Can someone give me an idea of a reasonable asking price?

If I were buying (which I'm not!) I'd be looking at about £150-£200 if it had a full MOT.
A 13 year old Escort falls well into the banger class I'm afraid.

I've just checked Glass's online and they don't do cars that old

For future reference though, for a free Glass's valuation, go to the Vauxhall site, hover over "owners" and choose a free valuation.

Not that their prices seem to reflect the real world at all

Take it onto a beach and have a ball, that’s what I did with my Orion, their quite good being so light. Just wear the seat belt as you can fair fly over the dunes.

Is it a mk4 or mk5?

EDIT: forget that... 1995 won't be a mk4!!
