Hi All

I have a carbed blackbird engine fitted in my car with the sausage type foam filter sticking through the bonnet i have noticed that the car performs fine when its been driven hard but if you going steady away at say 60mph in 6th and you gently put the accelarator down the car splutters like hell until you downshift and floor it i have and fellow kit car owners have noticed how smelly (petrol fumey) it is when im in front is this normal for this type of filter and will an aibox solve these problems and will it increase fuel economy.
