anybody got any decent band they listen too??

The genre has spawned many sub-genres like screamo, death metal, grindcore, mathcore, nu-metal, post-hardcore, hardcore. I personally listen to screamo and the like of The Fall of Troy. Bullet for my valentine are a pretty decent metal band.

Hellfire - 27/5/08 at 10:47 PM

Personally I like a lot of music but Metal is prolly my favourite genre. Of late I like "Disturbed", "Bullet For My Valentine" (1st Album (Poison) is better than 2nd), Linkin Park, Slipknot.

If you like hard dance tunes AND rock (with TONNES of BASS) then I would recommend PENDULUM - Hold Your Colour & In Silico are awesome albums regularly featured in Kerrang... my brother and I have been to see them 3 times live and they are without doubt a band you will hear more and more of, their music is unique.

Steve

coozer - 28/5/08 at 06:55 AM

For me, its Metallica, RATM and a welsh favourite of mine, One Minute Silence, then theirs Lizzy, Skid row and of course AC/DC

May be a bit 'soft' for some hard core metaltastics but served me well for the 30 odd There again I do like a bit of blues from Zeppelin.

Davey D - 28/5/08 at 07:48 AM

No matter what i listen to, i always come back to listening to Metallica

I listen to Chesney Hawkes. Or a bit of B*witched. I turn them up loud and throw myself around............

owelly - 28/5/08 at 02:28 PM

But as My Chesney and B*witched are in the mosh pit, I'm listening to Fields of the Nephilim at the moment.....
