Rome, been there, lots of rubble and pick pockets. Waited ages to get into the Vatican and never saw the pope. Leaning town of Pisa was better, Florence was really nice, actually I thought it was a great place, people there were very friendly.

That's who I'm with. Haven't had to claim but they seem pretty good.

We had a "massive" claim last year as some will know, selling the house would not have covered it.

We had AXA, not the cheapest but they where 100% helpful during a very difficult time, had a rep with us within 1/2 hour of arriving at hospital in a non English speaking country and where great, yea I argued a few minor points with them after the event but when needed most they where solid, sorry if it sounds like an advert but don't know how we would have managed without the rep. Invaluable, hope you never need one btw.
