Hi all,
I know that just before or early into world war 1 the royal family changed their name to windsor as it was more British than their actual German name
but what was their original German name before they changed it?
Saxe-Coburg-Gotha
changed to Windsor in 1917
Fozzie
Saxe-Coburg-Gotha

Oddly enough a chap at work, his lifes work is to compile the family tree of the royal family, apparently he can trace in the lineage to most
significant figures in modern and ancient history from them.
