will an aluminium chassis caravan be OK to convert into a trailer for my 7.

Will the ali chassis be OK for 650kg? Not sure how much the original thing weighed but removing the body it must loose some of its integrity??

Anyone done the same?

I used an alloy chassis. Stripped it back to the bones and bolted some steel box cross members and welded angle to form the deck.

Turned out very strong......probably too strong/heavy.
