hi im after a new tin top now as my mrs has got to do alot of miles up and down the motorway so was after a diesel but we cant find any that look very nice or that we are happy with so have been thinking about lpg then we can get a car we really like prob a civic type r astra vxr or possibly a focus st only being 22 i still want something sporty but how do these take to being lpg ed how much roughly is a conversion anyone had experiance with it thanks in advance adam
Not keen on the Golf GT TDi 130 or even better the TDi 150???
Seat Leon Reference Sport 140 tdi, VW build quality, less boring than a Golf.
6 speed gearbox and decent mileage.

both are very nice cars but i think the golfs are over priced and everywhere there are 3 gt tdis on my street and arent a big fan of the seat i think that when im spending alot of money on a car its got to be something that makes me grin when im in it and drive it have been looking at a3 and a4 s lines have driven them and are very nice and comfy but not for me
leon gets my vote, its basically a vw and quite a bit cheaper
no dont like them would lpg work ok with the vxr with it having a turbo have seen a type r with the conversion so know they can be done
astra 1.9cdti (red ti) 150 out of the box add tuning box and just under 200bhp
you dont understand i dont like any of the diesil because they all look dull and when you sit in them they have all got the same bench like seats in them i like the vxrs or type rs mainly because they are quite rare they always come fully stocked with everything in them and there uselly pretty quick and handle well can you lpg a turbod engine or are there limits to the power from lpg
Best try the Astra forum but a quick search shows a VXR LPG conversion has been done more than once.
Astra forum
If the power isnt so good on LPG then simply stuck it back to petrol when you want full power and LPG when in normal use.
cool thats what i was after thanks for that
