Weekend Gigs?
coozer - 30/6/08 at 03:28 PM

I know there was a lot of gigs going on at the weekend but I was in London for Bon Jovi Friday night.

Anyone else go Friday or Saturday?? Superb show with a very cool Mr. Sambora and excellent light show.

Then had a good laugh Saturday night when we went to see Spamalot.

Going into hiding now as me wallet is very empty!

This weekend was crammed full of good times, I wish I could have gone to some but cash was not available.

Wanted to see Buddy Guy on Friday in Brum and my brother took his girlfriend to Hyde park calling (?) on saturday to see a number of people but headlined by Clapton. Apparently the same place on sunday hosted the Police's last ever gig.

But I didn't see anyone :-(

But I do have tickets for Joe bonamassa next weekend and Rage Against the Machine at Reading Festival :-)

Spamalot is good isn't it. I have seen it twice now. The 2nd time was with that bloke from neighbours and Ugly Betty as King Arther. Very odd seeing him live!

is that so? I thought they were playing one last fairwell gig in the USA.

(probably end up like Status Quo doing 20 farewell last tour ever type tours.... )

I went to see them at the City of manchester stadium about a week ago now...was one of the best concerts ive ever seen - unforgettable performance opener of Living On A Prayer!

I was a bit jammy and won the tickets on a radio competition and so i got to go on the side stage and get within about 3m of Mr Sambora who was loving every minute of it! Managed to get some brilliant shots of it!

I was there Friday, fantastic concert. I was worried they would play a lot of the new stuff, but the show was packed with all the classics.
Rock on

Seen Spamalot as well, even my wife enjoyed it, and she doesn't like Monty Python.
She recons it's a bloke thing.
