This must have hurt.
Give Way.....oops
Farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrkin' hell
Hopefully clear over the top..
I'd guess even that would be better than getting munched like anyone in the car..
Nasty!
If the rider cleared that lot hes 200yds down the road and it still hurt
When planning to build a kit car I briefly considered getting a bike instead, but when I read a copy of bike magazine, which included an article on
"How to make sure you go over the top, including descriptions of when to extend your legs to ensure your kneecaps don't catch on the
handlebars"
I thought, errm, Naah.
Ouch, that had to hurt
the white square at the top left makes me wonder if that's where he (or a part of him) landed

the white square is just the website logo that has been removed, i agree i hope the rider has been drinking red bull and got his wings out in time!
Yeah, but is there anything worth salvaging for a BEC..???
I have always wondered about the origins of particular engines used in BEC's. Personally, I wouldnt want an engine thats propelled someone to a
horrible death, but thats just me.
I have had the experience (in 1977!) of flying into the side of a car at 40 mph. It was a citroen ami (sort of lower version dyane!) that came out a
junction. As I was flying several tens of yards thro the air, I can remember thinking 'not again'. I hit the floor on my ass, flipped back
hitting helmet on ground.
Adrenaline allowed me to get right up, and run back down the road, hurtling abuse at the car driver, who admitted everything to the furious biker.
As we were exchainging details, someone offerend me some bits of an ignition system from the middle of the road - but they were bits of the ami!

In 1996 I also was after another motor bike, and was in the throws of getting a 600 honda
It would probabley have caused divorce but I felt it was worth it
only days before I picked it up, my best friends son was killed on his bike
I have never ridden a m/bike since
and the following year, out came "the book" oooh I thought, that looks like a good idea, followed by divorce mumbleings
Is there a picture in colmaccoll's original post, and if so, what of?

My very first time on the road with my suziuki rv125. I was hit by a 2cv, lucky escape just scraped the fork and front mudgaurd. However the 2cv sustained much front end damage headlight wing wheel and tyre all very damaged. Made me feel good when i seen the state of the 2cv.
Stephen Fry had a good story about the dangers of biking - his grandmother was going in to have her cataracts done. The surgeon explained that they would take out her cloudy old lenses and replace them with shiny second hand donor lenses - but unfortunately they didn't have any donor lenses. But, lookin out of the window he said, 'Ah but it's raining so we soon will have some!'
Colmacoll,
Any info on what car it was?
I think I'll avoid one of those!
Any guesses, Fiesta, Corsa?
106 i guess
On second inspection it could be a saxo

Looks like a 106 to me
It looks like a shortened 106 to me. That's one way to get a bike engine into a car, not the best one though. It looks like a CBR600 so it might
be underpowered.
yours, Pete.
definately 106, it says it on the back!
mmmmmmm, nasty, not many BECs on road with motors that aint got "gravel rash" on clutch covers ect....... but that one well ?????
