As in the title really...
Does anyone know if its possible to get 150 identical padlocks that take the same key?
And if so, where on earth you can find them?!?!?
Thats some pretty mental Bondage.....
Or a very hard magicians trick!
It should be. I wouldn't know where from though. I know a lot of sites owned by a certain utility provider had padlocks that were opened with the same key nationwide.
My mate runs a company which supplies security equipment like this. I'll find out for you!
I have no idea where to get them from but i am intrigued as to why????
you can get them for computer locks as we've got a load in the office.
no idea where from, have you tried asking a lock smith (sorry if thats too obvious).
That is far to obvious....
We need to secure 150 new computers.....so need 150 small padlocks with one key....
I did the same thing for my work a while back. I bought tem from ABUS direct.
Just ask for 'keyed alike'
mate... if u wanted me that bad all you had to do was say
Yes it's the easiest thing in the world from a locksmith.
Had them made more than once myself for similar jobs.
rs do them

job done.
Yep its no problem, check your local yellow pages under Architectural ironmongers, Laidlaws have branches around the country, www.laidlaw.net
you could also search under locksmiths.
You really want the type of place that supply's the trade, wander into your local Shopfitters or small joinery company and ask them who they deal
with for locks. HTH

edited to add, you could get them keyed to differ with one master to open them all.

And swap the self tappers for security screws while you're at it
Yep they're called clutch head screws.
I useda company called top-tec in a previous job where I bought a load of cages (had them built to my spec to order) and they supplied a load of
suited padlocks with the same key to operate them all.
