Regardless of where they're actually built (rumours are Italy), good news that they're not totally dead and buried.

However, can't help wondering that trying to relaunch the company when we're on the verge of a recession is very bad timing!

looks alright but what about the cost of fuel?
Rose tinted glasses perhaps??

How many people think that this steering wheel would pass SVA? I reckon that it would fail on holes and edges...

Guinness - 10/7/08 at 01:03 PM

Whoooo hoo!

I love the Sagaris.

Good luck to them. Anyway, what recession?

As for the steering wheel, it'd likely come off in your hands in a collision

Don’t' like the pedals, they look like something that opens a bin

SeaBass - 10/7/08 at 01:28 PM

Sounds good - we will see how long it lasts...

I was lucky enough to tour the original factory in the late seventies. I'm glad they're back.

Sometimes recessions come when you talk about them. The markets are about perceptions, remember. If people ignore the news, don't borrow too much, things have a habit of turning out pretty well after all.

Also, their target is MidEast oil people, not Europeans/Brits. They are pretty much recession proof markets.

Yup, agree 100% there. I'm pretty sure that the media in the UK don't like Gordon Brown one bit, and they are going at him with the only weapon they have. Trouble is, if people start to listen to the media we will end up in a recession they have helped multiply.

Same thing with house prices falling. If the media didn't report it every 5 minutes we might stand a chance.

Mainstream media wants to take a good hard look at itself. Ask yourself this, given the millions of individual events in the world everyday, involving millions of people, how come all the news channels and papers all report the exact same stories day in day out?

Rant over

Yes - pedals.

I love TVR's, good to see them back, although instead of offering a new aircon system etc
they should have spent the dosh on a better engine.
The speed 6 seems to be pants.

Wadders - Tell me that's yours!

I always thought a TVR should have a basic big V8 and be held together with string and bubble gum. Looks a bit too electronic for TVR....

Missing the orginal spirit.
