tried to buy a battery for my phone on flea bay,clicked to buy and when i went to pay,playpall stylie it said payment refused.
i havnt used it for about a year and have had a new credit card since then so maybe the account is dead.
i asked someone else with an account to get said battery for me.
i just got an e mail asking for payment,so it seems i dont have a play pall account so do i
1ignore it
2send the supplier an apology and cancel
3 ignore it
4 hope it goes away
5run and hide

You've bought something on ebay and now you don't want to pay for it?

Either reactivate your paypal account or contact the seller to explain and offer to pay another way.

You need to amend your paypal account with your new credit card details and then it should work ok.

its not i dont want to pay for it,i couldnt pay as the payment was declined.ive mailed him now to cancel

The same thing happened to me a couple of months ago as it went into echeque payment mode , this was all due to card running out and i forgot to renew my expiry date with them once done all went back to normal with instant payment .

I'd be miffed at that if I was the seller.
He will have to pay the fees on the sale and in order to get them back, he will have to file an unpaid strike against you.
It is up to you, but I would pay for it another way.

You bought the item, pay for it. Reactivate your card with pay pal. Offer to pay by cheque. Do somthing.

If a buyer of my stuff refuesed to pay after winning, I'd be livid.

took me an hour of my life but i have sorted the account out,now have 2 batteries winging their way to me
