I'm looking for a Yamaha outboard motor manaul

I've combed the internet for one of these and the best I can come up with is two which were sold last month on Ebay (b****r!), a PDF of a parts list with drawings (fairly good) and a bloke in Japan on a blog who owns a manual but my PC hasn't got the full Japanese to English translator so I can't join Yahoo Japan and ask him for a photocopy
It's a Yamaha P-45, which they stopped building in 1979, and everyone's response in the marine trade has been to say "Ohhh, that's an old engine! "Really? I'd not noticed
Anyhoo, if anyone knows anyone who may have said tome, either on paper or electronic, please drop me an e-mail.
Thanks.

If it was ever published in, or as, a manual here, then it may be possible to get a copy via the library. Or even the British Library.

Just a thought.

Try amazon but use the .com rather than .co.uk site to search then get the isbn number and then search for it on uk site...

I saw manuals for my 83 evinrude that way..

another thing I'm recalling from my younger days when running about my dads workshop when he worked on outboards for living , was that mariners were yams up to certain size but dont count it as gospel as it were 20 year ago but maybe something to look into!!!!
