I will only be using it to get to college which is down the A27 so any fog would have burnt off. Il probably fit one anyway but a bit short of money at the mo so it can wait a few months

Mr Whippy - 24/7/08 at 07:55 AM

If you want it I have a spare fog lamp from the falcon, probably got a switch too. Just send me a couple of coins to cover the postage and I'll send it down.

u2u me your address if you’re interested and I'll post it on Saturday.

mcerd1 - 24/7/08 at 07:56 AM

my 79 mk1 fiesta never had one untill I fitted one (the mk2 one fitted)
but I was using it every day on the Edinburgh bypass where fog can be an issue

thinking about it I actually miss that car (even if it was gold), I just heard that it was just take off the road at the beginning of the year for restoration.....

quite right, in my experience the fog has nearly always burnt off by first thing in the afternoon!
Bloody students!

Doesn't have to have one but if one is fitted it must work.

Whilei remember, is that the same for reversing lights?

adithorp - 24/7/08 at 09:57 AM

No. They're not required on a car of any age. If you have them they don't have to work but if they do they either have to not work in forward gears or have a warning light if on a manual switch.
