Pop in laws 76th birthday yesterday, so all the family went over and had a slap up Chinese outside in the nice summer sun........
Well drinks flow a little it gets dusk, out comes the "rounders" set, which turns out to be baseball bat n ball.......now you already know
whats coming.....
We guys get all the girls out easy peasy, so its our turn, pop in law sits down on one of the chairs been used as a base........
Yup, wack, brother in law hits a pretty mean shot, all but one of us don't see what happens next as we are bust laughing at Mrs Isons attempts at
fielding the ball, then sure enough, on the grass by his seat is pop in law, egg sized lump on head muttering "he hit me"
Yup, just knew it was a bad idea, whats your bad idea you knew it would go pear shaped story ?
Kneeling on the roof of a shed I was dis-mantling and realizing a fraction a second too late I had taken out one screw too many
The eight foot drop onto a flat concrete floor accompanied by most of the roof seemed to take about a minute.........
Hangover+overhead crane+bad eyesight+large engine casing=£750,000 error.
Trying to pull a tree down with my dad. We'd dug the roots and chopped off the big branches. He decided it'd be a good idea for me to climb
the tree, attach a rope and as I swung he'd pull the rope and as it fell I'd jump off before it hit the floor. Swing once...going, swing
twice.....almost, swing once more and next thing I'm on the floor under a tree and tangled in a load of thick branches. I bloody knew it was a
bad idea
Decided to watch Top Gear for the first time in about a year and all my horrors were affirmed, it's no longer a car show but a variety show. Thank the Lord for Fifth Gear! I knew it was a bad idea!!!

driving to strasbourg in france from york, north yorkshire... what could go wrong?
we were nearly rear ended by a belgian nobber near liege (and I do mean nearly, he locked his front wheels at 80mph and left a massive cloud of smoke
behind both of us = should have been looking where he was going), and then the tomtom took us on a 100 mile learning curve into germany and then back
into france. What should have taken around 10 hours took nearly 14.
bast.
Buying a football and having a knock about with a mate for the first time in 12 years, In the hot sun for 2 hours.
Result was me hopping on one leg doing the BBQ later on in the evening as my angle was swollen by a huge amount and i didnt even hurt myself to cause
it.
