That windscreen surround is milled from a solid titanium billet 95% turned to swarf , the glass, 1/2 inch bullet proof stuff. You could sit a house on it.

Yeah, of course. You don't have to fit one now. In fact the standard Westfield single hoop and many of the locost hoops that you see are little more than a mouse trap anyway!
