Recently I seem to have been using quite a lot of the halfords car body spray paint stuff... Seems to stick well and gives a really good finish...Most of the small components on the car are painted with the black cans...

Takes about half an hour to dry as well which is nice....

However, its not cheap!!!

Are there any alternative paints that are of a similar or better quality that are cheaper?

Any mail order companies who do similar cans for less?

My local motor factors are a paint shop too and will mix any colour into an aerosol. Not sure about cost though.

If you can find a local supplier Tetrosyl trade spray is excellent and cheaper than Halfords.

They don't do satin black any more, the gloss black's not bad though.
