My local pound store has got a combined PVR, video and DVD recorder for 150 notes

I was in tescos yesterday and saw a VHS/DVD writer combo with freeview built in £199 , the only downside was no twin tuner so you would be watching
waht your recording unless out ofcourse
John i will have a look in the loft to see what electrical goods i might have in the car boot pile.
I've got an old VHS you can have conrodski. Ask me next time you're over.

My sisters got one of them funai ones in bens link. Good bit of kit. But if your gonna spend the money get a twin tuner so you can watch and record
different channels.
I bought a freeview dtr from maplin for 40 quid a couple of weeks ago. Nice thing. Runs a pc ide hard drive so you can change the size. iv got an
80gig in mine and it will record about 50 hours on it.
that funai looks like the deal, ive bought some time by washing the dust out of the recorder with a hose pipe and cleaning the recording head with some
wet n dry, seems to be working ok now
ill give you a shout next week Chris,Jo wants would like to see you again for some strange reason
