when my car didn't have MS i had my rev counter signal hooked up to the negative side of my coil, but now i have MS with edis where do i draw my rev counter signal from?

the edis unit has a rpm output, thats what my koso rev counter is hooked upto and is accurate enough.

Which of the two wires have you used - PIP or SAW ?

The EDIS module has its own output for a Guage, from what I remember its the Green wire...
But it depends what input your guage takes.

In Omega's case the guage was fed from the -ve side of the coil so its expecting a 12V pulse, I think the EDIS gives out a lower voltage ECU type pulse.

There is a special circuit for the MS so the MS gives a output for the Rev-counter... this either works straight off or needs an extra resistor from a 12v ignition supply (a pull up resistor? it might be called) ours needed this.
