does anyone know if there is a manual way of opening the jag xf fuel cap?

don't mean to insult ur intelligence but in the boot like my dads s-type? lil pull cord thing?
Has it failed already?

i just sent 1 of my men to one for mondial assistance only 3 weeks old but the button does not open it anymore hopefully he can sort it otherwise its back to the dealer ..........in cardif oh were in peterborough edit to say ive not yet been out to one so was hopeing someone on here knew

Oooh, that's posh! Round here, they just nick red diesel out of farmer's yard tanks

Luckily, 2 ex-army GSDs tend to put our travelling friends off at our place

next door neighbour used to be a police dog handler. Got one dog he couldn't trust so they shipped it off to the MOD ..... argument was if it bit someone while on the base who shouldn't be there ..... its their own blooming fault

update. jag assist told our guy theres no manual release..... they said prise the cover open and try not to damage the surrounding paint!

Your joking, Do they not have a pin/ plunger, catch arrangement that when u press the button unlocks it? Surely forcing it open will damage it!
Take it back to jag... that way if they damage its their fault.
My dads had dealing with Jag with his cars you'd be supprised what they can check (they said they did) for free when ur blunt and articulate!!
